This Victorian-era book locket has a dark-colored stone set into the front face (seems to be jet, onyx, or black tourmaline) and the back face has striped engravings. The pendant is rectangular-shaped and its hinge is on the bottom so the locket opens vertically. The pendant is strung on a curb chain.
This locket is made from 12K Gold Fill. The pendant is unmarked but has been tested. The chain has 1/20 12K stamped on the clasp.
