This stunning 1940s ruby red floor length gown is an absolute show stopping vintage piece. The dress is made from a crepe silk, has short sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline. There's intricate pleating around the bust and shoulders that gives the bodice a bit of texture. The dress is cut on the bias which allows for the dress to stretch a bit and cling to the body. We adore the open back on this gown. This piece has a metal zipper on the side of the bodice.
Silk. This dress has a small very hole (see photo), but otherwise is in great condition. It seems like this dress would fit a modern size S. Please see measurements below for best fit.
