Here are the perfect, sustainable, locally made, fair wage face coverings, sewn from 100% cotton vintage fabrics, so you can be fashionably safe for all of your cute non-medical outings.

This mask is upcycled from an antique quilt top, which itself was upcycled from 1930s feedsack dress scraps and remnants. That means this mask is the third life for these lovely fabrics!

Each mask is double-lined with crisp white muslin, and the front fabric has been quilted/topstitched for sturdiness. There is a pocket for a filter and aalso a nose wire, for a close fit with no slippage.

The hand crocheted tassel straps can be worn many ways (see video). It can go around your ears & under your cute hair, or up around your head for less ear friction. You can also wear the mask like a necklace to have it ready for a quick draw when someone comes near.

Best of all, these masks are a mother/daughter project! The tassel straps are hand-crocheted by me (Ruth of Gypsum Vintage), while my seamstress mom Nancy sews the masks on a pattern we both tweaked to perfection.

Thank your for supporting fair wages for sewists, sustainable manufacturing processes, recycling, and my own grocery bill, with your purchases.
Love you all. -Ruth
